The Drives business in Beijing is experiencing some very good years, and has grown on average by more than 40 percent a year. AC drives are used to control the speed and torque of an electrical motor. The AC drive will adjust the motor speed to the actual needs for the current process. When needed, the AC drive technology extends the motor speed range, increasing the productivity of the driven process. When a low capacity is enough, the drive reduces the machine speed and saves energy.
