On the 2nd of July Ides released the latest Service Release to MasterConcept 10.2; SR2
Ides’ solution enables ABB OY Drives to replicate technical solution libraries from the ABB Server (Master server) to other servers (Slave servers). The slave servers are placed in different countries like China, India etc.

Ides, with its focus on PDM software for plant life cycle, has today acquired all product rights and related ongoing business from Docassist AB. This means that Ides now have the possibility to offer their customers a PLM system with related PDM applications. The purpose of the acquisition is to strengthen Ides' total product offering and thus satisfy the manufacturing industry's need for product information handling. From now on Ides also has an office in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Ides with its PDM software focus for the plant life cycle has signed a reseller agreement with Datong Digital Science & Technology Co., Ltd. The common main objective in this case is to assist the Chinese power industry as well as the petrochemical industry with tools for Plant Asset Management, focusing on technology and engineering during the plant life cycle.
Ides AB has signed a reseller agreement with China’s largest reseller chain, Beijing Ruihesoft Co., Ltd.

With this release improvements have been done in several areas. Among these are:
• Colorization on changed symbols in Design
